Tinu Agboola’s dream was always to become a nurse since her younger days in Nigeria, West Africa. “I first saw the need for nursing while living in Nigeria. There is where my love for caring for people ignited,” says Tinu. Her parents on the other hand wanted her to pursue a career in teaching, so she received her Master’s in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma.
But the love to care for people was still there. So, she went on to pursue nursing at Clayton State University and later received her BSN from Florida State University. She has been a nurse for 29 years.
Tinu joined BBH in 2006. Over the years she has served as Manager over the Margaret Z. Dozier House, the Gadsden/Liberty team, and currently as the Team Manager for the Care and Comfort team. This team provides services to those residing in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing Facilities.
When Tinu is not providing compassionate care for her patients and family she enjoys ministering to people, acting, and singing. A quote Tinu lives by is “Whatever you find your hands to do, do it well”.
