At Big Bend Hospice, we value all Volunteers and the time they serve. For us, it’s about respecting each individual and what they offer.

Often there are Volunteers that go way above the call of duty and serve over the course of many years. We feel they deserve special recognition which is why each year Big Bend Hospice chooses a group of Volunteers who have done an exceptional job in supporting our mission to receive our annual Heart of Hospice award. This year, six special recipients were selected:

Liz Dameron
Hospice House Greeter, Administrative, and
Special Projects Volunteer
Leon County

Sabrina Hartley
Patient-Family Volunteer, Ethics Committee Member
Leon County

Stephanie Kilham
Patient-Family Volunteer
Gadsden County

Tracy Morales
Patient-Family Volunteer, Hospice House Greeter
Leon County

Tim Sanders
Patient-Family Volunteer
& BBH Board Member
Madison County

Suzanne Truesdale

These six individuals have shown a tremendous amount of dedication, consistency, and generosity. Please join us in congratulating these Heart of Hospice recipients!
